I trudge down the dark sewer tunnels, not even bothering to cover the slight sound of my footsteps on the slimy brick floor.
I can't believe Shredder sent me down here.
It's not like they could be here.
I mean, it seemed like it at the time, but I haven't found any sign of life for hours.
I walk on for another ten minutes, and then I freeze.
I hear a noise at the end of the tunnel.
"Alright guys! I'm going to skate round the tunnels!" A male voice echos down to me.
He sounds young.
"Ok, Mikey, just be careful!" Another, more mature voice answers.
Hmm. Maybe Shredder was right.
Of course he was.
I hear the footsteps coming my way, followed by the rumble of a skateboard.
I have to jump away just as he rushes down the tunnel.
I have to hide!
Panicking only slightly, I hitch myself up onto a raised ledge and wait.
The sound of the skateboard's wheels stop, and I hear nothing after.
After a few moments, I decide to come out into the open.
Obviously he's gone.
I look cautiously round and find nothing.
But then, I suddenly get hit by a stunning blow to the back of the head.
I fall to the ground and gasp, winded as I get another blow to the stomach.
Quick hands snatch my Tonfa away and tie me up before I can react.
Dammit, Perianth! How could you let your guard down?!
I snarl at him, trying to get free.
"Guys!" He shouts.
"What's wrong, Mikey?!"
"There's someone here!"
I hear three sets of footsteps come running.
"Who?" The one in blue asked.
They all dress in bandages, like me, and armour, and each has a different coloured bandana.
Shredder did say they would be mutants.
I wasn't expecting this.
I mean, turtles? Seriously?
"Her." The one called 'Mikey' says.
"Is she, like, a frog or something?" The one in red asks.
Obviously, he's amused by this.
"I'm a sort of newt, actually." I say coldly, my voice slightly hoarse from not talking for a while.
"Aren't they supposed to have tails?" The one in purple looks down at me, confused.
Obviously, he's not used to being wrong or puzzled.
Great. A nerd.
He'll have to do.
I took a good look at him.
Finally, a grip on someone's mind.
Wow. His mind is complicated.
But I've got the information I need.
"Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey, eh?" I say, looking at each in turn.
They all look seriously suprised now.
I smirk and let out a short laugh. "If you were wondering, I can read your mind. You really shouldn't let me look at you, Donnie~"
"Fascinating...." He ponders, staring at me.
I glare back and try to take a bite out of his leg.
I can wriggle really well when I want to.
And I won't be stared at like a test subject in a cage.
He jumps back, letting out a short yelp in the process.
"Let's get her back to Sensei." He says hastily.
"Ok, Raph, carry her. I'm not letting her out of those ropes. Donnie, grab her weapons and, Mikey, don't forget your skateboard." Leo orders, setting off.
So, Leo is like the leader?
They all obey, and I snap as Raph grabs hold of me. "Keep your hands away, turtle."
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way." Leo says from in front.
"I'd like to do it the hard way, so keep struggling. I'm sure it will be easy to knock you out." Raph says.
I hiss but let myself be picked up.
After all, I need to be concious if I want to memorise this stretch of sewer.
These idiots didn't even think to cover my eyes.
Hopefully, this sensei is Hamato Yoshi.
